March 25, 2024 - The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) has launched the new official MTA app, developed through a partnership between MTA New York and Axon Vibe. During the beta phase, which began in August 2023, valuable rider feedback was collected to enhance the app iteratively. Moving forward, the MTA and Axon Vibe remain committed to continuous improvement, taking into account further input from the user community.

With 1.6 million monthly active users, London Live Bus Countdown is one of the city’s most popular transport apps.

August 8, 2023 - MTA New York and Axon Vibe have unveiled the new, co-developed all-in-one mobile app for trip planning and service information. Axon Vibe’s smart transit technology allows MTA app users to receive smart, real-time, contextual notifications for their individual journey and help make it easier for riders to plan for transit and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This effort is supported by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). The aggregated data will be available to the MTA to better understand ridership and mobility patterns around the New York metropolitan area.

November 24, 2022 - Deutsche Bahn (DB) launches the check-in/be-out ticketing app egon in Nuremberg, the second largest city in the state of Bavaria. Like the award-winning DB Tickin app, DB TiMo app, and Ticket NRW app, also egon app is powered by Axon Vibe’s multi-modal journey detection technology.

July 27, 2022 - Deutsche Bahn (DB) launches check-in/be-out ticketing in the existing Ticket NRW app (as Eezy Check-In) for the region North Rhine-Westphalia, which is with 17.9 million inhabitants the most populous state in Germany. July 31, 2020 - Deutsche Bahn (DB) launches the new Tickin mobile app which is powered by Axon Vibe’s multi-modal journey detection technology. In this check-in/be-out ticketing solution the end of the journey is detected automatically, i.e. no manual check-out is required by the passenger. This helps to avoid wrongly charged full day rates when passengers forget to check out themselves. The Tickin app therefore introduces a revolutionary and seamless customer experience in public transport mobile ticketing.
